Marketing my store concept -- LAUNCH PARTY SOIREE

Promotional leaflet / Invitation
Cool graphical magazine
Social Media - Instagram

DJ
Chic treats -- effective marketing strategy
Celebrity endorsement

To market my store concept I will have a launch party soiree with the likes of fashion bloggers, editors and popular celebrities, artists etc. to attend my event. I use them as an endorsement to promote my brand, this will help me gain more recognition. My store will be promoted with a large amount of graphical digitals onto mini magazines, photographs on leaflets and the invitations. I will use social media including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to promote my soiree launch party and to communicate to my audience about my current and future events.

Final store concept

My overall concept is based on minimalist and pristine appearances. I want to set a chilled, welcoming atmospheric mood in similarities to a fashion studio hence why I have reflected many elements of collage and white earthy brick walls and wooden floors. My aim for my store concept has to reflect my garment so I had to think carefully If the overall design would relate. I love the idea of a vending machine being in store, I think it would highly attract customers as it instantly encapsulates you because it's quite a fun and playful selling strategy for customers to want to purchase a product .
The use of lighting isnt too fancy because it would not fit in with my overall idea, I chose something really simple yet effective which works with the whole concept.

Neutral use of colours , Fashion collages on the wall which keeps customers up to date with current trends and whats new in and decorative materials: hangers hanging from the ceiling.

STORE CONCEPTS -- COLLATION OF IDEAS

I love this monochrome space with the textured marble desk. This store is very minimal and precise with the colour scheme, and the detailed print ceiling.

Brief idea on the detailed innovative clothes rail.

Love the idea of having a mixed fashion collage on the walls,
this is an unique idea which will attract customers and
get information on the latest trends and news within fashion and the store.

The dark coloured walls and shiny metallic desk really outshines and contrasts the surrounding of the store. I like the idea of the store logo/name above the tills whilst the rails are at opposite sides.

These huge clips are a very creative idea to have posters/leaflets/photographs around
the store. It adds a creative touch and catches your eye instantly and makes visuals seem much
more interesting.

P3 Scale - Influencers of Industry - Store Concepts

Acne Studios, London
Acne Studios Paris, France

Both of these spaces located in London and Paris reflects what Acne Studios stand for : sleek, minimal and modern. The brand stays true to its aesthetic, we know this because both store concepts are very similar as they have the same colour palette (hints of blush pink and a sci-fi metallic theme). The store concepts are very modern, spacious and pristine, unlike other stores there are no props because they want to encapsulate the customers to focus on the overall collections then this will obviously lead to them purchasing an item. As we can see in both photographs a camel coat is the main focal point and there are no other garments around, this is because they know customers will then wander around the store looking for other pieces, this makes customers want to look further to find other products the store may have. I think this is a very minimal yet strong marketing strategy hence why their store in London and France use the same concepts.

Haider Ackermann
Karl Who?

Celine
Celine is dedicated to comfort, quality and sport influenced separates. Celine is well-known for
minimal, stark, chic and wearable clothes which have provoked near-nerdish devotion in the fashion industryThe trapeze shaped bags are possibly the most recognizable items of the brand, they are a trendsetting piece as they have been copied by mass-market and luxury brands.
The unique shape has embedded into the DNA of the brand. Their A/W 13 collection incorporated the plaid print trend, this had a huge influence on the high-street market and highlighted this as Celine's creative collection as it was inspired by the plaid nylon grocery bags and their Fall 2013 collection re-interpreted it into a fashionable, contemporary trend. High-street brands then took influence by Celine and produced much affordable products to a specific target audience. Icon Joan Didion has recently been on their new ad campaign as she is a  prominent figure in the new journalism movement and she perfectly embodies the sophisticated cool of the brand. Celine uses very simple advertising strategies as they do not rely on social media.

Haider Ackermann

TWO words : Draping & Layered tailoring

Haider Ackermann is known for his exaggerated, androgynous with elements of femininity and tough romanticism designs. Haider is known for producing collections characterized by contrasts, his distinctive essence takes shape in a mix of high and low culture, elegance and street life. He is intrigued by cultural differences and cultural force: the purity and simple aesthetic of forms mixed with the activity and vitality of life itself. I think he has introduced his intelligent use of layering and signature draping forms to fashion world.

Chanel - Karl Lagerfeld 2000's

Karl is one of the most influential leaders in fashion and is credited for re-inventing the famous brand Chanel. He has revamped Coco Chanel's inconic pieces such as the tweed jacket, quilted bag and little black dress, making them contemporary with a stylish edge. One of his main qualitites is his marketing strategies, it involves using an iconic, popular bunch of supermodels to model down the catwalk shows and ad-campaigns such as Cara Delevigne, Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls. He also uses celebrity endendorsements such as Rihanna who is known for promoting Chanel especially at their A/W 14 show in Paris. He introduces new ideas to his  fashion shows, making them more exciting, this makes the brand recognisable by the press and people. A great example is their A/W 14 show, the catwalk was transformed into a high-end supermarket with models browsing around and pushing trolleys in stylish longline tweed jackets and trainers, this had huge recognition in the press.
Karl Lagerfeld surrounds himself with a younger audience so that he is aware of whats going on and is keeping up to date within the fashion world and putting himself out there. This makes his brand successful because he know's what people want and expect.
Catering to a different audience who is less likely to afford the brand's expensive pieces, Karl has a diffusion range, this makes others able to feel luxurious and connected to the brand.

Nature and scale of the industry

Fashion marketing covers a wide range of aspects including appealing to a specific target market and using different advertising strategies to please the desires of customers.

Acne Studios is known for catering its unique interpretation to cool street-wear aesthetics.
Acne Studios is a very sleek, minimal, modern and trend-savvy brand and has flourished on an upturn in taste for cool urban wear, inspired in part by what models and stylists wear off-duty. However because it is such a well known 'street-wear' brand but not affordable for everyone, the high street brand Zara
has taken inspiration from the brands popular sweatshirt and re-created their own with similar elements of Acne Studios and with of course a much more affordable price catering to a wider audience than Acne Studios.
